    4.       Attached please find 2 documents. The first, describes a typical day in 6th grade, along with a few typical questions/answers. The second document, has a link to a google form for which we would like each new family to fill out. This form will lead to the first collection of email addresses for your grade so that we can start sending communications that involved the whole grade or whole school, starting from the summer. It will also tell us if your child is interested in being in a band class or not.

    Thank you!

    Best Regards,

Grading Policy

At Wagner Middle School, our grading policy aligns with our school mission of preparing our students to be critical thinkers, independent, and responsible beyond their years at Wagner.

We believe that the purpose of grades is to demonstrate students’ understanding and mastery of skills in a content area at a given point in time. Students are given the opportunity to demonstrate mastery through multiple measures of performance for each course.

Grades reflect a combination of classwork, homework, formative assessments, summative assessments, as well as students’ work habits in each content area.
