The Department of Youth and Community Development's online registration portal, Discover DYCD is now open to sites city-wide! Registering through DYCD is a mandatory step in order to participate in any Manhattan Youth program.

This year, registration with Manhattan Youth After School will be broken up into two parts:

Part 1: Pre-registration with Discover DYCD (Starting Today)
Part 2: Afterschool Class Registration (September 3rd, 2025)

The Manhattan Youth Club registration will open to families in September. Schedule and registration dates will be made available in the coming weeks.

 Pre-registration is now open via Discover DYCD to families throughout NYC! Click the link above to begin your Discover DYCD Pre-Registration. We encourage families to sign up beginning today whether you are planning for your child to participate in afterschool in the fall, winter or spring session. This includes students interested in the Drama Club (School Musical). Discover DYCD sign ups last all year and do not need to be completed again once they have been submitted!

*IMPORTANT: Completing the online Participant Intake Form via Discover DYCD does not guarantee a seat, but makes for a more streamlined process. Pre-registration also ensures that your child is eligible to participate.

All students must have a completed Discover DYCD registration form in order to participate in program.

Individual class registration will open in September. Class registration is where you choose your child's desired afterschool class/club. The date for class registration is September 3rd, 2025 and the schedule will be released soon. Join our new 2025-2026* mailing list and be on the lookout for our e-blast with more information. Afterschool spots are limited and we strongly encourage you to complete your Discover DYCD form early (BEGINNING TODAY)!
