NYC Survey
Every year, families, teachers, staff, and students in grades 6-12 are asked to take the NYC School Survey. The survey gives school leaders a better understanding of what members of their school community think about their school. The information collected by the survey is designed to support a dialogue among all members of the school community about how to make the school a better place to learn.
Beginning the week of March 6th, students will be receiving a hard copy of the survey to take home. Families have the option to fill out the survey online or on paper. If on paper, the survey can be turned in to Wagner or sent in the included self-addressed stamped envelope. Families can login to their NYSCA account to complete the online NYC School Survey or click here - https://surveys.panoramaed.com/nycdoe/login
The deadline to collect the NYC School Survey is March 31st.

Jazz at Lincoln Center
Jazz for Young People: “Who is Thad Jones?”
We are thrilled to announce our spring Jazz for Young People concert will focus on Thad Jones - one of the most influential and often overlooked composers and trumpet players in the jazz canon. This concert will feature our very own Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra! Who is Thad Jones? is a centennial exploration of the magnificent trumpeter-composer-bandleader (1923–1986), who Charles Mingus once described as “Bartok with valves for a pencil, guided by God.” The younger brother of the great pianist Hank Jones and the older brother of drum giant Elvin Jones, Thad Jones played with Count Basie before joining forces with drummer Mel Lewis in 1966 to form the Thad Jones-Mel Lewis Orchestra, whose descendent, the Vanguard Orchestra, continues to play Jones’ pieces every Monday night at the Village Vanguard.
Student tickets are $10 per student and every 10 students you receive a free chaperone.
